Can you ever believe anything that is spoken in a Government-controlled public inquiry? I doubt it. I want to talk to you about the latest news coming out of the UK Covid Inquiry which is all about what happened in the “adult social care sector during the March-July 2020 period. The information provided is damning at one level but at another I think it entirely misses the sheer horror of what was going in the Care Homes. From where I said, these were the killing fields and the drug “Midazolam” is of central importance.
However, before w get to that, let’s think about what the official narrative os telling us.
There is an admission NOW that the care sector was treated as “something of an afterthought” at the time. The number one Political and Health priority was to protect the NHS. Care users and providers were WAY lower down the ladder. The truly atrocious Health Secretary at the time, Matt Hancock boasted that he had built a “protective ring” around care homes “right from the start” This is now seem as a illusion and the raw facts confound his claim
“More than 43,000 recorded deaths involving Covid-19 occurred in care homes between March 2020 and July 2022.”
Note the use of the word “involving” because this is very significant. The huge spike in deaths in care homes was used to drive home the FEAR of Covid 19 even though it was abundantly clear at the time that there were multiple factors in play.
The official Inquiry exposes failures in planning, testing, PPE, and the suggestion is that this allowed the virus to “spread like wildfire.”
We can all remember how many elderly hospital patients were discharged straight into care homes to free up beds for an expected tsunami of Covid patients. This never came and if you remember we saw video after video of dancing nurses and empty wards. The entire period was unlike any I have ever encountered.
