The last train to Stabsville

Curious and curiouser.

We now know his name – the alleged knifeman on that train is Anthony Williams, 32, from Peterborough.

Williams has been charged with 11 counts of attempted murder after the stabbing spree on the Huntingdon train on Saturday evening, and a separate incident in London hours before.

Remarkably he has ALSO been charged with attempted murder and knife possession at Pontoon Dock DLR station in east London in the early hours before the train stabbing The police are now reviewing possible links between Williams and at least three other incidents!! These include the stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in Peterborough the evening before the train attack.

It seems that IF this is true, Anthony Williams was keeping himself very busy.

There’s more to this though;

Was he known to the Police, for example? Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood says Williams “was not known to the security services, counter-terror policing, or Prevent”? Note the careful use of language. She isn’t saying that Cambs Police didn’t know him!

Had he been treated in any way for “mental health issues’? Silence.

You get the impression the authorities know some of these answers but are reluctant to give us them until the time is right. That time is not just yet – the public anger has to be managed carefully first!

One of the things I find odd about this episode is the reported alleged culprit is his comment that …”The Devil is not going to win”

What does that belie, if anything?

Will we be told he is a militant Christian with mental issues?

What MOTIVATED this attack – why is that being carefully ignored by the authorities?

Why does this feel like something that is being very stage managed?
