The UK state cannot stop grovelling to Islam.
A major independent review into the UK’s counter-terrorism and repatriation policy has recommended that Shamima Begum, along with other British nationals and former nationals detained in camps in northeast Syria, should be allowed to return to Britain.
What? They want to bring this Jihad enthusiast back to the UK?
As if we don’t have enough of them here.
Of course this legal shift does not really surprise me and comes amidst growing debates over balancing national security with Labour’s instinctive pro appeasing Islam values.
The review warns that Britain’s current policy of leaving these individuals in “legal limbo” not only perpetuates their suffering but also risks turning Syrian detention camps into “propaganda incubators” and potential breeding grounds for radicalisation and future terrorism threats. Boo hoo! I am PLEASED if she and her associates “suffer” and the “terrorist recruiting” argument is specious.
You will of course remember the background here. Begum left London at 15 in 2015 to join the Islamic State in Syria. She and her mates were super stoked to join up with the Jihad gang. After her arrival in Syria, she married a Dutch jihadist and had three children, all of whom died in infancy.
In 2019, her British citizenship was RIGHTLY revoked by the Home Secretary then on national security grounds, a decision that was legally contested for several years.
The Supreme Court ruled in 2021 that Begum should not be allowed to return to the UK to fight her appeal, stating that public safety outweighs her rights and that her absence from Britain made it impossible to fairly contest her case.
Then a tribunal found she was technically a Bangladeshi citizen by descent (though Bangladesh refused her entry), and the Special Immigration Appeals Commission noted a credible suspicion that Begum was a victim of trafficking and sexual exploitation—yet still upheld the legality of revoking her citizenship.
The Court of Appeal, in February 2024, confirmed that although she may have been influenced and manipulated as a minor, she nonetheless made a calculated decision to join IS.
It’s my view that this vile specimen should NEVER be allowed back into the UK. She made her bed with psychopathic Jihadists and must be made to lie in it. I couldn’t care less if she lives or dies but under no circumstances can she get back here.
