Well, despite the EU and the liberal media (same thing, btw) clutching its pearls, President Trump has doubled down on his insistence that the US must gain control over Greenland!
“I would like to make a deal the easy way. But if we don’t do it the easy way, we’re going to do it the hard way.”
“I’m a fan of Denmark…but, you know, the fact that they had a boat land there 500 years ago doesn’t mean that they own the land.”
“NATO’s got to understand that. I’m all for NATO. I saved NATO. If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t have a NATO right now.”
He is right on every point and the shrieks of outrage from the Danes, the EU and Starmer don’t a hill of beans! Trump will get his way here and there will be change. I have heard suggestions that every Greenlander will be offered a life changing sum of money to agree to some sort of trade deal that would also enable US military hegemony in their land. Invasion is not required.
There is no NATO without the US and they all know this. Denmark can huff and puff all it wants. Starmer can stamp his little boots in outrage, but in the final analysis they will al have to accept the will of the Greenlanders and Trump knows HOW to get the deal done!
