The disturbing rise of the German Army…

Did you see that Germany’s Bundestag has just rubber-stamped a “voluntary” military service scheme for 18-year-olds? With a vote of 323 to 272 Chancellor Merz’s coalition has thrust the German nation back toward the ghost of conscription, all under the contrived banner of “national defence.”

The rise of the German Army once again should give us all pause for thought!

Berlin now insists on fattening up its Bundeswehr from 182,000 to a much larger 260,000 by the 2030s, complete with 200,000 reservists lurking in the wings. Germany is prepping for war and students of history should be concerned.

To put things in context, the biggest Army in Europe is actually the Italian with 338,000. France is just behind with 304,000. So Germany will be the third largest army in Europe by the 2030’s. (The UK army is much smaller at just over 100,000).

What could possibly go wrong?

From January next year, every 18-year-old boy will be compelled to fill out a questionnaire probing their eagerness to join up, while girls get the luxury of opting in or out. Turns out equality is not what you thought

By July 2027, mandatory medical exams will catalogue their “fitness” as “homeland protectors,” as Defence Minister Boris Pistorius so chillingly phrased it. Mmmm…”Homeland Protectors, it has a certain Germanic ring to it!

Naturally following this announcement, protesters gathered outside the Bundestag, waving banners screaming “No to military service,” “We don’t want to spend half a year of our lives locked up in barracks learning to kill,” and “War offers no prospects for the future and destroys our livelihoods.” .

The excuse from Merz and the German High Command is the urgent need to prepare to confront Putin. The true objective is to be able to be a player in the next continental war. German politicians have a fondness for war.
