Now either I have a phenomenally large number of number of troll/bots following me – which seems unlikely – or this place really doesn’t like my content. Two months of this has now been going on and I will be honest with you, it makes it so hard to want to continue, it really does. At least in this current form.
No matter how hard I work here, no matter how much engagement the articles get – the numbers just keep on dropping. Maybe I should paywall the whole damned thing like others do? That’s not my style as I like sharing views on all sorts with you but when I wake up to this I cannot help but feel unwanted by those who control this platform, those who are virtually uncontactable and those who preach free speech but who plainly limit it.
I thought Substack was a space to write freely, to build engagement and an audience of people interested in the same things as me. I don’t think this is possible anymore.
