SOMETHING NEW ARRIVES TOMORROW!

Tomorrow morning, I will launch something that I’ve been planning for quite a while.

The Saturday Briefing.

Here’s the big idea! Every Saturday, I’m going to step away from the rough and tumble of the daily news cycle and concentrate instead on one big subject.

And for the very first edition, I’m going back in time to a moment that changed Britain forever.

1948.

Now many people may associate that year with the creation of the NHS.

But something else happened. Something much bigger and yet few people really understand it.

The Attlee Parliament passed an Act which, at the time, probably seemed relatively unremarkable. But it was to be of massive consequence.

Things would slowly unfold across the decades — changing who could come to Britain, who could stay here, and ultimately helping transform the very character of the country.

The British Nationality Act 1948.

Why was it passed? What did it actually do? What followed from it?

And here’s the question that really interests me most of all;

Did the politicians who passed it have the slightest idea of the Britain their decision would eventually help create?

So that’s the subject of the very first Saturday Briefing.

This is very different from my normal daily Substack. Longer. Deeper. And exclusively for those of you who choose to support my work as paid subscribers.

The daily articles will continue to be free. But Saturdays are going deeper.

The Saturday Briefing begins tomorrow. 8am.

Edition No. 1: The Act That Changed Britain.

I hope you’ll join me.

Truth without Compromise.
