Jimmy Kimmell, an unfunny comedian, had his late night show that nobody watches taken off air for a few nights by the company that he works for – ABC.
You will recall WHY this happened. He went on air in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk murder and claimed that Charlie had been assassinated by “the MAGA gang” when it was obvious this was not true. This ignited outrage by those grieving the loss of Charlie Kirk and ABC responded.
Kimmell was not sacked, he was suspended on full pay for two working days.
And how did the Left respond – by equating the temporary loss of his show to the loss of Charlie Kirk. Quite unbelievable,
Jake Tapper of CNN said that Jimmy Kimmel being fired was the “most direct infringement by the government on free speech that I’ve seen in my lifetime.”
In his lifetime. The GALL of these people.
When President Trump was removed from Twitter, Facebook and Youtube for YEARS, Tapper had nothing to say. When thousands of other patriots were cancelled during the Biden years all we heard from Kimmell and Tapper and the rest was..silence.
These unspeakable hypocrites ONLY care about their own. They couldn’t care less about free speech – they openly seek controlled speech. They will deny us OUR speech but demand that their own remains.
Anyway, Kimmell was back last night as ABC lifted the suspension. And he instantly attacked President Trump. Here is what he said
“This show is not important. What is important is that we get to live in a country that allows us to have a show like this,” Kimmel said to whoops from his studio audience. After playing a clip of Trump ridiculing his low ratings, the host pointed out that the row had brought huge attention to his comeback, and sent back some ridicule in return. “He tried his best to cancel me,” Kimmel said. “Instead he forced millions of people to watch the show. That backfired bigly. He might have to release the Epstein files to distract us from this now.” “A government threat to silence a comedian the president doesn’t like is anti-American,” before repeating for emphasis: “That’s anti-American.”
Kimmell is lying. It wasn’t Trump who took him off-air – it was his own venom that did it. He made a false allegation regarding the assassin of Charlie Kirk. His EMPLOYER decided to take him off-air as it was obvious to them that Kimmell was not remotely sorry for mocking Trump’s grief. And his suspension lasted a few days.
Charlie Kirk is gone forever. Erika’s loss is real.
Kimmell is just another unfunny clown whose audience will only decline further.
