Reform Leader Nigel Farage is a bit of a marmite figure. You love him or you loath him. The May 7th Election results showed that millions of people endorse the Farage led Reform party and it performed really well in England, Scotland and Wales, pulverising Labour and Conservatives. I think this proves that Farage is effective and Reform is emerging as a likely future UK Government. It offers an existential threat to the Uniparty.
So isn’t it interesting that for the last several weeks now we see media hit piece after media hit piece on Farage’s alleged financial misdoings. The scum mainstream media breathlessly reported that Farage had received a £5 million personal gift from British crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne in 2024, shortly before he returned to frontline politics and stood as Reform UK’s candidate in Clacton. Farage says that this was an “unconditional” personal gift intended to fund his private security for life. My sources indicate he has already burned through a substantial amount of this on 24 hour security detail. Farage also argues that, because it was given before he became an MP and was not “political,” he didn’t need to declare it on the parliamentary register of interest.
This £5 million gift is now under formal parliamentary standards scrutiny. The Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards has opened an inquiry into whether he broke Commons rules by failing to declare the gift when he became an MP. It seems possible that Farage might be sanctioned and a by election called. The Conservatives seem VERY excited about this and will throw all their resources into it. I reckon they will lose and if anything Farage will be returned with an even bigger majority.
But it shows that the British establishment desperately wants to politically decapitate Reform. Farage is not perfect, Reform is not perfect, but they are best placed to actually WIN in 2029. It seems to me that the UK has one last chance to reverse the terrible decline we have fallen into and the current media onslaught is aimed at preventing that change.
