No Jews in Birmingham!!

I’m sure you will have seen the story that Birmingham-based Aston Villa Football Club has banned Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from attending their Europa League match at Villa Park, allegedly based on “safety concerns”

The decision was made following advice from the local Safety Advisory Group and West Midlands Police, who cited public safety risks outside the stadium and the potential for protests and violence.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with this!

Such tolerance.

And then there was this from the Corbyn/Zultana “Your Party” rabble:

Where this gets really crazy is that it includes concerns raised by past incidents such as the 2024 Europa League match in Amsterdam where Maccabi Tel Aviv fans were attacked and involved in violent clashes. Got that? The Israeli fans were attacked, not attacking. They were the victims.

We are told that Aston Villa maintained ongoing dialogue with Maccabi Tel Aviv and local authorities, emphasising that the decision prioritised the safety of all supporters and local residents. Yeah, whatever.

However, the decision had sparked some real. controversy. Even the spineless UK PM Keir Starmer along with Israel’s leaders has criticised the ban as the wrong decision, arguing it unfairly penalises Maccabi Tel Aviv fans. I note that some organisations have called for matches to be played behind closed doors instead of banning away fans

The truth of the matter is that political pressure from the left has resulted in this craven call by Aston Villa. Birmingham has a significant Muslim base and it has flexed its muscle. No Jews at Villa Park.
