I was trying to work out WHY it was that those American Eagles ads featuring the buxom actress Sydney Sweeney have triggered so many on the left and then…I got it.
In an age where ugliness, obesity and degeneracy is celebrated, the sight of an attractive healthy looking blond haired blue eyed girl is just too much for them to accept. It’s like sunlight on a vampire. So they recoil in horror, gasping that she *MUST* be a Nazi and that this is all about White Supremacy.
It speaks volumes about the feral left. These are the purple-haired nose ring-wearing clowns who look perpetually miserable and angry. As indeed they should be. They have embraced a lifestyle that is fundamentally unhappy and unhealthy and that is why studies show record levels of depression emerging amongst the younger demographic.
When I was in my teens and twenties, most people I knew were fairly well balanced and had healthy lifestyle. There was only one person I ever knew who seemed depressed. (Years later, I discovered that he had killed himself)
How did we get from that well adjusted culture then to the depravity of a significant chunk of the Left in 2025?
I blame Education. As teachers become hyper woke, and lecturers revel in their leftism, students become marinated in this decadent gospel and not surprisingly some abandon basic principles like taking care of themselves, accepting self responsibility and trying to lead a balanced lifestyle. It’s not ALL of them and of course parental role models come into play too. When people talk about “good genes” it is worth remembering that we are ALL a product of our parents genes. And the more sensible of us make the most of that. Sometimes genes deliver good things, sometimes not – but I think we all make our choices. The depressed left want to blame everybody for their poor choices, the balanced centre right know that we control how we feel, what we look like and how we can thrive.
Sydney Sweeney is 27 years old and has a lot of life ahead of her. She is giving herself the best chance of it being a good one and in that regard she is a proper role model.
Rather than demonise her for being a “Nazi”, the woke should understand that she is an inspiration.
