I am sick to the back teeth of all the so-called “informed” mainstream commentators telling us that the US-Israel action against the Mullah regime in Iran is wrong because…Iraq.
These talking heads demonstrate a lamentable lack of understanding as to what is actually going on but I guess they echo what the craven British establishment want to hear. In essence, because of the Iraq war, the US can never fight another war. That’s so much garbage and it ignore three fundamental points;

The Iranian people are so desperate to see the Mullah Regime removed that they cheer as the bombs fall around them. 90 million people are hostage to the Shia Supremacists and they want to be free. Isn’t that a good reason to help?

The Mullahs themselves threaten instability to the region and fund terrorism around the world. Removing a regime whose catchphrase is “Death to America” seems laudable to me.

The combination of US-Israeli firepower is enough to bring down this regime, it does not need US boots on the ground. Yes, the Kurds across the border may seek to put their boots on Iranian ground but that it surely their prerogative?
Back in January, the Mullah regime ordered the slaughter of tens of thousands of its own people. The scale of this atrocity was met with studied silence by the political left. Contrast that with their howls of protest over Gaza. What was the difference, you may ask? Well, in the case of Iran, it is an Islamic regime doing the killing. This reinforces my view that many on the left are simply Islam’s useful fools.
Iran was a secular constitutional monarchy before 1979 and the son of the late Shah, Prince Reza Pahlavi, is well positioned to provide an interim leadership. He is friendly with the West, having been forced to live in exile. He does not seek to impose a new tyranny but rather restore Iran to what it once was. Tehran was once known as the Paris of the Middle East BEFORE the Mad Mullahs seized power and it can become great again once radical Islam is purged.
Look at how the Mullah’s Iran has attacked ALL of its Arab neighbours, it is an equal opportunities hater. More missiles have been fired at Dubai than Israel. Removing this regime is critical for the world and it seems that one week in a lot of progress has been made to that end.
