Have you seen the new Team GB flag for the Summer Olympics in Paris this summer? As you can see, the Union Flag as been taken and twisted to the point where is it hard to recognise it. And that’s deliberate. This is ritual humiliation and they are doing it in plain sight!
This is what it SHOULD look like and did look like in 2012.
You might remember the furore from the other week when they tried a similar trick on the England football kit when the cross of St George was similarly deformed into being made to look like this!
I am sure you can pick up on the similarities between both these latest changes – it’s all about washing away much loved and meaningful national imagery and substituting a sort of vague mishmash of colour, some of which seems to hint at Trans imagery with pink and purples now present. None of this is accidental. It is deliberate and it is all about erasing our sense of a shared National identity!
