Austria bans Hijab, UN attacks Austria!

Did you see that the loathsome reptiles at the UN have raised concerns over a new Austrian law banning Hijabs for girls under 14 in all schools, questioning whether it complies with international human rights standards.

Are you kidding me? Surely imprisoning young girls in this dark ages veil is the real violation? Why is the UN even questioning any of this?

The law, recently approved by Austria’s National Council, applies to all state and private schools and is estimated to affect around 12,000 girls. Just think, 12,000 Muslim girls in Austrian schools! The hills are alive with the sound of Islam!

Austria claims the measure promotes gender equality

UN spokesperson Marta Hurtado slyly claims that freedom of religion or belief can only be restricted by law when necessary to protect public safety, order, health, morals, or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others. She said it is unclear how wearing a headscarf poses such a threat in this case. Is she blind? Even where a legitimate aim exists, she noted, restrictions must meet strict proportionality requirements, and absolute prohibitions have previously been deemed unreasonable by the UN Human Rights Committee.

So in effect she is saying that the UN supports Burqas and Hijabs in most situations,

She also warned that framing the ban as a way to protect girls’ autonomy can itself raise concerns about discrimination and limiting freedom of action. No one, she emphasised, should be forced either to wear or to remove religious symbols, and policies that ignore girls’ own voices about choosing to wear a headscarf risk undermining their agency and consent.

Under this new Austrian law, students who violate the ban must first attend meetings involving the school and their legal guardians. In cases of repeated non-compliance, child and youth welfare services are notified, and as a last resort, parents or guardians can fined up to 800 euros.

I think Austria is trying to do the right thing here and stop Muslim supremacy in the classroom but along comes the UN once again to stand up for Islam and enslavement.

I can’t decide which is the bigger threat – Islam or the UN!
