The Woke West!

One of the most disturbing characterises of the Western world is how increasingly “woke” young women are becoming. Consider the following chart which pretty much sums up the scale of the problem!

You can see that in the 18-29 year age group, more and more WOMEN are becoming more and more liberal, espousing woke causes and sharply contrasting with the views of young men in the same age group. The UK seems particularly impacted and here the men are also getting more and more Woke. This does not auger in the least well for the future and I think it’s fair to ask WHY this phenomena is happening.

I think I have identified the main culprit – Higher Education!

In 1990, there were 34,000 women graduating from UK universities, compared with 43,000 men. By 2000, the positions were reversed, with 133,000 women graduating, compared with 110,000 men. In the following years the gap has accelerated – so that the most recent figures from last year show there were almost 300,000 more women in higher education than men.

And therein lies the problem. We all know that Higher Education is the bastion of wokeness and it looks like these young women are more easily captured by its seductive allure. So the college and university campuses churn out this generation of highly triggered very woke young women (and to a lesser degree men, if you’ll pardon the pun) and it starts to reflect in the societal demographic!
