I find that this platform both pleases and enrages me in equal measure and thought to share a few thoughts with you all! I was having a look at my stats and noticed that I have not gained so much as ONE new subscriber in over 20 articles in more than a week. Further, I see I have actually lost several subscribers. Talk about demotivating!
People will say that you should write for the love of it all and not worry about statistics. That may well be true but I am driven to pusj content that hopefully people will like and that is manifest in them reading it. It seems that this is not what is happening to my content.
It is a nice feeling when I see engagement on my posts as otherwise I think I am talking to myself. I read all your comments and think about what you say. I learn from you.
The people who actually are paid subscribers are the people who keep my spirits up as I can see that they have placed their faith in me to spend £5 a month on my content and that means a lot.
I want to express special thanks to them as were it not for you, this might just end.
