Meet Shabana Mahmood. She is the UK’s new Home Secretary. In this important role, she carries full responsibility for stopping the cross channel migration, much of which is Muslim. One estimate is up to 70% although data is opaque for reasons you can guess at! Mahmood is a Muslim herself and her parents are Pakistanis. She has been active supporting pro Islam causes as this image demonstrates.
We are now being gaslit into believing that Mahmood will “take on Reform and the Tories by articulating a tougher line on illegal migration” Who in their right mind believes this garbage being pushed by Labour and its media cohort?
Even if, and that is a big if, Mahmood did want to crack down on cross channel migration, how would she do that, exactly? Mahmood has been Justice Secretary for the past year, what has she achieved? She introduced an emergency measure to reduce the time served for certain prisoners from 50% to 40% of their sentences, leading to the early release of thousands. She accepted a sentencing review which recommended reducing short custodial sentences (under 12 months) unless exceptional circumstances applied! She pushed for deporting foreign criminals to free up prison space, announcing plans for immediate deportation post-sentencing. However, the persistent issue of housing over 10,000 foreign national prisoners (12% of the prison population) remained unresolved during her tenure.
So she achieved little of note and it can be argued that she has weakened our Justice system. Now she has the Home Office at her disposal, how will this work out?
