It’s only a few days since the Church of England appointed the first ever female Archbishop of Canterbury which in itself has caused a major schism in the world of Anglicanism.
The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) has formally severed spiritual ties with the Church of England following the appointment of Bishop Sarah Mullally as the newArchbishop of Canterbury – the first woman to hold the role and a vocal supporter of LGBTQ+ inclusion within the Church.
The Nigerian Church, led by Primate Henry Ndukuba, issued a statement condemning Mullally’s elevation as “devastating” and “insensitive,” citing her support for same-sex marriage and her gender as incompatible with what it described as “biblical leadership.”
The statement accused the Church of England of ignoring long-standing theological divisions and pushing a “revisionist agenda” that threatens the unity of the Communion.
With a membership of some 25m, this is a massive loss to Anglicanism in general and the Church of England in particular but the demons in charge of it couldn’t care less.
Which explains this, behold Canterbury Cathedral…the jewel in the Church of England.
You see Canterbury Cathedral has unveiled “Hear Us,” a graffiti art installation “focusing on partnering with marginalised communities—such as Punjabi, black and brown diaspora, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ groups.”
This is EXACTLY what I would expect in this now godless Church, led by a feminist LGBT+ supporting woman.
The Church of England is dying and that’s been the case for some years. Membership has fallen by from around 1.5 million in 1970 to approximately 582,000 in 2024. By the end of this century it is likely be all but extinct. I suppose it had a good run, founded in 1534 and it got as far as 2025.
The more it turns away from God, the more it is in rebellion with the Bible, the further it will fall.
