Not even the Donkeys are safe

OK, this is going to be a distressing one but we have to find the moral strength to face into the horrors happening in our country.

Let me give you the background first.

Afghan refugees have been housed in unused military housing in Oxfordshire. Families who fled the war-torn country when the Taliban regained control were moved into unoccupied Ministry of Defence houses in Watchfield and Shrivenham..

Councillor Helen Pighills said: “We have a duty to help those who have put themselves in harm’s way by helping our country’s military operations in Afghanistan, and so we’re pleased to work closely with the Ministry of Defence to provide the care and support our guests need”

She was “pleased”. Remember that.

Now, lets get to the horror.

POLICE are investigating the abuse of a donkey in an Oxfordshire village. The animal, named Masie, was found unwell by her owner in Watchfield village, near Shrivenham. Her injuries were described on the Shrivenham and Watchfield Community Group on Facebook, which stated there was ‘a lot of blood’. The post also stated there was a ‘man’s belt’ found in the field and, after a vet assessment, it was suspected the animal had been ‘sexually assaulted’.

The innocent creature was raped.

By whom?

Well, the presence of a large number of Afghan men in the immediate vicinity is a clue. Back in Afghanistan, we read this;

Bestiality, including sexual activity with donkeys, is understood to occur in Afghanistan, especially in rural areas or among young people with limited access to human sexual partners due to strict gender segregation.

The Police have not said there is a link, nor have they ruled it out. I suppose the poor animal cannot talk but get this…

The Donkey now lives under 24/7 cctv protection.

What have we become?
