I was delighted to see that in the United States, President Trump has struck an unequivocal blow for women’s rights by BANNING men from competing in their sports!
US President Donald Trump will sign an executive order that prevents transgender women from competing in female categories of sports, according to White House officials. The order will provide guidance, regulations and legal interpretations, and it will enlist the Department of Education (Whilst it is still there) to investigate high schools thought to be non-compliant. Republicans say it restores fairness to sports but LGBT advocacy and human rights organisations have described the move as discriminatory.
Great news, I am sure you will agree, and let’s hope that other countries and sporting institutions follow his lead.
