Make no mistake. The EU wants the Ukraine-Russia conflict to continue without end. There is simply no other explanation for the bizarre words of Kaja Kallas, the top diplomat of the European Union. warning against pushing Ukraine to give up territories to Russia as part of a future peace deal.
Speaking in her first UK interview since EU leaders joined Donald Trump’s White House peace talks with Ukraine, Kaja Kallas told the BBC that letting Russia keep Ukrainian territories was a “trap that Putin wants us to walk into”.
No, the only trap being set here is by the EU. It is encouraging the egomaniac Zelensky to refuse to accept the reality on the ground – Russia has already captured 20% of Ukraine and if he doesn’t hurry up and agree peace with Putin that will only increase. This land is already GONE. Refusing to accept this fundamental reality will only make things worse and yet that’s what Kallas is saying.
Ukraine has consistently rejected conceding Donbas to the Kremlin in exchange for peace, though Trump stressed the need for “swapping of territories”. So a crisis is coming here. The EU/Kiev axis if evil can continue to pretend that Russia has not won these territories and keep the killing going. Russian sources claim to have hacked into the Ukrainian military files which show total loses/serious injuries of Ukrainian men at 1.7m. This is catastrophic and yet Kallas wants to seep it going!
It is so hard for President Trump to get to a peace when at least one of the Parties – Ukraine – just cannot be trusted once out of the White House!
