The correct answer is none. Zero. Nada.
No MAN should ever be placed in a Women’s prison. I don’t need to go beyond biological reality to come to my conclusion – do you?
I was therefore a bit surprised to hear Reform leader and his new Justice adviser Vanessa Drake take a rather different stance. Here it is;
Clear? Men being placed in Women’s prison is “a relatively small matter” and one BEST undertaken by “risk assessment”
WTF?
Now, no matter how you cut it, this is suggesting that given the right “risk assessment” a biological man COULD indeed be placed in an all female prison. And just in case you think I am picking on that one awkward moment, here is the Reform Justice Adviser Vanessa Drake doubling down on her curious views!
She clearly believes that a trans-women (biological man) COULD be accommodated in a female prison subject to a satisfactory “risk assessment”. She accepts that men can transition to women and she says so. Well, that is a physical impossibility and with the best will in the world, this is VERY POOR judgement by Reform Leader Nigel Farage.
And as for his “I haven’t personally worked in a prison so I can’t answer it”, isn’t that pathetic? I haven’t personally belong to a Rape Gang but I do know that rape is wrong! Why is Farage talking like this?
I have grave concerns about Farage. I do understand the need for REAL political change but is Farage going to deliver it?
