I have been to Brussels quite a few times and apart from the architectural delights of Grand Place on a sunny morning for a coffee I didn’t like it much. You see I didn’t really feel that safe once you stray even a few streets from the busiest tourist areas. Now we all know that Brussels is also the official seat of the European Union and it is also the symbolic heart of the European project.
