The latest Grammys were a clean sweep for female artists, with Taylor Swift overtaking the likes of Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon. This elevation and adulation of female artists is contrived and speaks to the low standards of modern music. Back in 1963, Tony Bennett won best single with ”I left my heart in San Francisco”, and Igor Stravinsky won awards for his music. How things have
changed!
