It’s quite inspiring to realise that at least SOME European countries have the courage to ban the garb of Islam from the public square. I am talking about Denmark. Those great Danes take the right approach!
To put this in context, a law prohibiting all face coverings in public spaces came into effect in Denmark in August 2018. Anyone wearing clothing that conceals their face, such as a full-face veil, can be fined. That’s a good start.
Now the Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, aims to extend this ban to include educational establishments. Frederiksen also plans to eliminate prayer rooms in these institutions, but without officially banning them.
She wants Education Ministers Mattias Tesfaye and Christina Egelund to clearly inform universities that prayer rooms should not exist in educational settings and to find a collective solution.
This is all going in the right direction and is pushing back the advance of Islam.
Denmark has also BANNED Halal and Kosher slaughter of animals, prioritising animal rights.
Contrast this with the craven appeasement of these practises in the UK. Our cowardly politicians indulge the Burqa, the Niqab, Halal. And this encourages Islam further.
We have great Danes and cowardly Brits.
