The mainstream media consensus is that the Trump-Starmer press conference yesterday was a success and that Starmer managed to use diplomacy effectively. However my take is that the Prime Minister lied once if not twice during the questioning from the media.
As usual, he INSISTS that free speech is “alive and flourishing” in the UK!

“Is the UK still a Christian Country & despite what you said about free speech – The UK is still arresting 12,000 people a year for Social Media Posts”
Just observe Trump’s actions & demeanour as Sire Kier Starmer answers – he keeps turning to look the UK PM right in the eye – Trump knows he’s lying.
First of all, the wild claim by Starmer that he is “Christian”! Where is the evidence of this? I have never heard Starmer make this suggestion before – is he trying to ingratiate himself to Trump?
Secondly, he tries to pretend that he “all for free speech” and his only motivation in clamping down on it is to “protect children”? Really?
Watch this video. A senior American lady living in England and suffering from cancer is visited by the Police and asked to apologise for a Facebook post that somebody was offended by! This has NOTHING to do with “protecting children” and EVERYTHING to do with instilling fear in the population!
This is the reality of Starmer’s Britain. Away from the studied grandeur of Windsor Castle and Chequers, ordinary folks are being terrorised by two tier policing. It’s a disgrace, I hope Trump is not taken in by the adenoidal whining from the Prme Minister!
