From the land of Saints and Scholars to a lair for Sinfulness

Ireland rightfully enjoyed a reputation as a land of saints and scholars. This was grounded in its rich history of religious figures and academic achievements. The Medieval period saw the rise of numerous Irish saints, as well as a flourishing of scholarship and learning, especially within monastic communities. Those days have long gone and the trans-mogrification of Ireland should horrify us.

Here are a few images from the large PRIDE parade that just took place in Dublin.

As you can see, the various Government departments actually promote Pride and it seems to me that Ireland may be the most fervently pro-LGBT+ country in the world. The political leadership seems 100% onboard the Pride train and not even a pretence of moral hesitation is not allowed. They are all in.

Why do the Irish embrace this public display of sexual preference? Are they just massively repressed and feel a need to come out (pardon the pun) and show their devotion to a cardinal sin?

Listen, I have no issue with people following their sexual preferences so long as it is legal, decent and done in private. But is that what this is?

The Bible states that Pride is a deadly sin and that homosexuality is sinfulness. The current Irish political and media class disagree and so they prance through the run down streets of Dublin revelling in their rebellion against their Maker.

Proverbs tell us that “Pride goes before destruction”

Look like Ireland needs to find out.
