Follow The Money
As Elon’s pack of number crunching nerds audit the books it has become quite apparent that there is so much waste and fraud, that we should not only be able to balance the budget we might go into the black.
The $60 Billion of USAID is just a peak under the hood. It’s just one of hundreds of never seen the light of day programs that exist in my government. It only has a small fraction of government money, a mere sixty billion. Money that was meant for good purposes. It wasn’t spent on those good purposes, but hey no one looked. That meant they could spend it on what they want, and did.
This is just the beginning. DOGE is supposed to look at the Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and Defense. That’s where they will find the real fraud and abuse.
I have questions.
What is going to happen to those committing this fraud ? Are they going to investigate who recieved the misappropriated funds ? As in who owned the companies that provided the services ? Who approved each expenditure ? Did anyone in the government, or their families profit from any expenditure ? Did anyone receive a kickback ? When will the Prosecutions commence ?
It is my hope that this will not be just a show and tell exercise. That we will see follow up investigations and prosecutions of those that have defrauded us. I am not sure that we will actually witness that. 98% of Politicians and Bureaucrats enter office broke and in debt. Yet every politician leaves both the House and the Senate as Millionaires. Even our top Bureaucrats like Fauci leave government service multi-millionaires. Rich from kickbacks and patents created from tax payer money.
This must stop, and examples be made. Is it sad or just reality that I feel no one will ever see a jail cell or a even a fine…
