Let’s start with what we appear to know.
On 29 July 2024, a mass stabbing targeting children occurred at a dance studio in Southport, Merseyside, United Kingdom. Three children were killed, and ten other people – eight of whom were children – were injured, some of them severely. Axel Rudakubana, a 17-year-old born in Cardiff to parents from Rwanda, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with three counts of murder, ten counts of attempted murder, and possession of a bladed article.
That’s about it. We don’t know the MOTIVATION, we don’t know WHAT the alleged killer said when carrying it out. We just know that three young girls are dead.
Or do we?
Let me be clear, I am certain these little girls met a savage fate on 29th July but there are some on the more conspiratorial side of things who suggest that it was all just a controlled psyop to enable Starmer to implement a purge on the patriotic right. I can understand WHY they may think that but I believe it is profoundly misguided and confuses cause with effect. YES, the killings triggered protests which turned to riots in some instances and YES the new Government seized on that to conjure up he phantom of the “Far Right” but that’s all it is – a useful phantom. I think we need to realise that Government can be opportunistic and will take advantage of things that happen.
Do remember that only a few days BEFORE these killings there was a huge gathering that took place in Trafalgar Square of British patriots fed up with mass migration. That this was organised by Tommy Robinson was also a factor. This was a reminder to new PM Starmer that a substantial subset of the population is angry and wants action taken to protect our borders. So when a 2nd generation Rwandan kills three little girls 48 hours later, there was understandable anger. It seems to me that Government moved fast to brand this as “EDL/Far Right” thuggery that MUST be met with “the full force of the law” and this is going to be THE narrative for the foreseeable future in the UK as the patriotic centre is rebranded the “far right” and all the instruments of power levelled against them!
I think we can have many legitimate questions to ask about what happened on that fateful Monday morning – the response of the Police would seem to be one such area of concern – but it’s important to stay based and realise that our concerns about mass migration are entirely legitimate and this was one particularly gruesome example why!
