UK PM Liz Truss and US President Joe Biden met briefly yesterday to discuss amongst other things, the Northern Ireland Protocol. Biden is making it clear that he does not want to see this changed since he thinks that would imperil the Good Friday Agreement. But he’s wrong and a time if coming when Liz Truss is going to have to choose between doing the RIGHT thing for a part of the UK, or keeping Biden sweet!
