Not so long ago british parents who expressed any negativity concerning lgbtabc people and their behaviours were threatened with having their children removed by their local council run Social Work department (not official govt policy at the time).
Cannot threaten the same punishment with a protected ‘minority’ group; that would be inhumane to remove children from their family due to the family’s religious beliefs.
If the CofE allows it then ALL Christians in UK must follow suit, so says government. Dissent within Christianity is not tolerated but instead called bigotry and all ‘isms’.
