Peter Hitchens is not someone I always agree with but on some issues he can be very precise and on-target. He is claiming that the British Government is using the Ukraine misadventure to distract from its total failure at home, and he is at least 75% right. Let me explain why Peter is correct yet missing the biggest part of the jigsaw!
