Watch the narrative change by the day. First, Ukraine was winning defending the city of Bakhmut. Now it is admitted the City is mostly destroyed but that Ukraine is holding on to the eastern part. Next, you will be told that Ukrainian forces have surrendered or fled, but that it doesn’t matter because Bakhmut is not strategically very important.

‘Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not’.
Jeremiah 5:21
David, Russia has already lost. They are are now a vassal state, reliant on China. They are a lot more likely to lose traditional Chinese territory on the border with China than gain Ukrainian land.
NATO’s supreme commander has said Russia has suffered 200k losses of men, much more than they’ve lost in all their wars combined (and there’s been many) since ww2.
They have lost countless men to take a city of only 25k before Russia’s invasion. It really is only of minor significance. Why did Ukraine keep it for so long? Because the Russians attacked wave after wave (ala ww2 tactics) and depleted their resources on it, as is the way when attacking defensive positions.
We have Russia’s proxies looking for “peace”. Russia isn’t looking for peace from a position of strength.
The three day war could end up being a 3 year war, but Russia will end up far worse than a Western supported Ukraine.
Not sure how you turned so pro Russia/anti West, hopefully this sentiment will be reversed.
